SUMMARY:Mt Satima Wandare
DESCRIPTION:The Wandare Gate is a less-known gentle trail to Mt satima. The experince begins with a scenic drive drive 15km into the park\, off the Nyeri-Nyahururu highway near Mweiga through the dense bamboo forest\, to get to the trail starting point. We then hit the 11km trail through the beautiful-beautiful golden moorland to get to the Oldoinyo Lesatima peak at 4\,001m above sea level. \nThis is the shortest trail in the Aberdare ranges by distance. Highly recomended for beginners to mountaneering! \nFeature Image courtesy of Omondi Tuju
