Makueni County is a land of contrast. The Kenze river trek lies on the verdant hills of Kilome. Starting at Mukaa, a little town where the first inland mission was started in 1903, the trek goes down to the surrounding inhabited hills before running into a lush green temporary river line with huge, interesting rock formations, rock pools, and scenery dots.

0500hrs: Departure Outside Bata Shop – Hilton (opposite Kencom)

Route: Nrbi – Salama (Mombasa Road)

0800hrs – start the hike

1500hrs – Finish hike

1900hrs – Arrival at Nairobi

Cancellation Policy

Hikers that wish to cancel more than 48 hours before the hike will be issued a 50% refund of the total hiking fees. Those that cancel 48 hours or less to the actual date will not be refunded. No shows will not be refunded either.
