Makueni County is a land of contrast. The Kenze river trek lies on the verdant hills of Kilome. Starting at Mukaa, a little town where the first inland mission was started in 1903, the trek goes down to the surrounding inhabited hills before running into a lush green temporary river line with huge, interesting rock formations, rock pools, and scenery dots.
This experience also works perfectly as a Private Drift. A custom hiking drift is your opportunity to hike in the perfect company! You pick the place, you tell us what you want, and we put a trip together just for your group.
