Kereita Forest Trek

Join us on a moderate hike through the stunning Gatamaiyu Forest reserve, starting at the southern edge of the reserve and finishing near the town of Kimende. This hike is perfect for those looking for a challenge, but not quite ready for a strenuous trek.The trail starts with a slow descent through dense jungle-like vegetation, leading to a beautiful waterfall. From there, we’ll make our way back up through the open forest, passing by “The Forest” premises and back into the woodland forest.
