Set within a buffer zone created by lush tea plantations and man-made forests, the Kimunye trail is a photographer’s dream come true, with its stunning views and shaded paths. Halfway through the trail is a thunderous waterfall with crispy clear waters from Mt Kirinyaga. For the brave drifters, one can take a dip in the icy waters, the trail is mostly gentle, with short steep sections while accessing the waterfalls.
