Mackinder’s is a bucket list adventure that every thrill-seeking hiker dreams of tackling. Nestled in the rugged terrain of the Naro Moru route, this challenging trail will push your limits and test your endurance. The starting point at the Met station, perched at a dizzying 3048 meters above sea level, is just the beginning of your journey. As you make your way up the mountain, you’ll be treated to a stunning array of flora, from dense bamboo forests to windswept moorland, and you may even catch a glimpse of the giant lobelia plants that tower above the landscape. But the real reward comes when you reach the summit, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views and the sense of accomplishment that comes with conquering one of the most epic trails in the world.
